Introduction
Tu Guoyuan, Professor, Ph.D supervisor. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 1995, then to Professor in 1999, and then to Doctoral Supervisor in 2004. He has been the chief expert of Hunan Provincial Translation Research Base, member of Hunan Provincial Key Discipline Construction Committee, director of Hunan Provincial Translation Series Title Evaluation Committee, member of Hunan Provincial Teacher Series Senior Title Evaluation Committee (convener of Foreign Language and Literature Subject Group), leader of Hunan Provincial Key Discipline of Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, leader of Hunan Provincial Key Discipline of Foreign Language and Literature, leader of English Language and Literature Doctoral Program of Central South University. He is also the leader of the PhD program in English Language and Literature of Central South University, the executive editor of Foreign Languages and Translation, and the editor-in-chief of Sanxiang Translation Theory (the journal of Hunan Provincial Translation Association). His main research interests are translation theory and practice.

Wang Songlin, PhD, Professor (Second Class), PhD Supervisor (Cooperation). He received his Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Jiangxi Normal University in 1986, his Master's degree in English Language and Literature from East China Normal University in 1989, and his PhD in World and Comparative Literature from Huazhong Normal University in 2008; he was a visiting scholar in the English Department of Cambridge University from 2002 to 2003 and in the English Department of Edinburgh University from 2014 to 2015. Since 2009, he has been working in the School of Foreign Languages of Ningbo University, where he has been appointed as the "Yongjiang Scholar" and "Anzhong Chair Professor". He is also the deputy secretary-general of the International Society for the Study of Literary Ethics and Criticism, the director of the Chinese Society of Foreign Literature, the executive director of the National Society of British Literature, the executive director of the Chinese Society for the Comparison of Chinese and Foreign Languages and Cultures, the vice president of the Zhejiang Society of Comparative Literature and Foreign Literature, the head of the key research base of the humanities and social sciences of foreign languages and literature in Zhejiang Province, and the director of the Zhejiang Provincial Academic Degree Office. He is also a member of the Discipline Review Group of Literature, History and Philosophy of Zhejiang Provincial Degree Office. He has presided over three National Social Science Foundation projects (including one key project) and many provincial and ministerial level projects. The National Social Science Foundation's project "Joseph Conrad's Research" was completed with excellent results and recommended on the National Philosophy and Social Science Planning website. He has published more than 80 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, and more than 10 academic monographs, translations and textbooks. He is currently presiding over one key project of the National Social Science Foundation and one key book publishing project of the National 13th Five-Year Plan. His academic interests include Victorian British literature, novel theory and criticism, literary ethics criticism, foreign maritime literature and culture, and comparative literature and cultural studies.

Yu Shanzhi, professor, male, Ph.D. in English Language and Literature, received his B.A. in English Language and Literature from Henan University in 1987, his M.A. in English Language and Literature from Henan University in 1991, and his Ph.D. in June 2004. From 1989 to 2004, he taught at the School of Foreign Languages of Henan University. He was a leading academic and technical teacher of the Henan Provincial Education Department, a member of the first group of outstanding academic groups of Henan University in the collapse of the century, a member of the second group of outstanding academic groups of Henan University, the director of the Institute of Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics, and the second group of outstanding young backbone teachers of Henan Province. From November 2004 to November 2005, he was sponsored by the China Scholarship Fund to visit the Department of Linguistics of Essex University, U.K. Since February 2006, he has been teaching in the School of Foreign Languages of Ningbo University.

Xin Hongjuan, Professor, is the Vice Dean of School of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University, Executive Director of Zhejiang Translation Research Institute, and PhD supervisor. D. in Literature from the School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University, and a postdoctoral fellow in Philosophy from Central South University. Her main research interests: translation theory and practice. Major talent titles include Young Backbone Teacher of Hunan Province, Outstanding Fulbright Research Scholar in China-US Cooperation, Furong Hundred Post Teaching Master, New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education, Leading Discipline Leader of Hunan Province General University, etc. She has presided over one international cooperation and exchange project, one National Social Science Foundation project, two Ministry of Education projects, one China Postdoctoral Fund project and more than 10 provincial teaching and research projects; she has received more than 10 provincial teaching and research awards. She has published more than 60 academic research papers in well-known journals such as China Translation, Foreign Languages and Foreign Language Teaching, and more than 20 books (textbooks) in thesis, translation and editing.

She has served as the Dean of the School of Advanced Translation, the Executive Deputy Director of the Silk Road Language Service Collaborative Innovation Centre (concurrently), the leader of the professional field of Master of Translation, the leader of the translation profession, and the university-level teaching master. Her main research interests are translation curriculum and pedagogy, translation technology, and journalistic translation. In recent years, she has won the second prize for national teaching achievements. In recent years, she has won one second prize of national teaching achievement, two special prizes and one second prize of provincial teaching achievement in Shaanxi Province, one second prize of postgraduate teaching achievement, and one second prize of provincial philosophical society excellent achievement in monograph category. Nan Zhang is a professor and PhD candidate at Soka University in Japan. She has served as the director of the Daisaku Ikeda Thought Institute at Nanjing University of Technology, the deputy secretary-general of the Japanese Language Teaching and Research Association of Jiangsu Province, and the director of the China Comparative Literature Teaching and Research Association. She is the head of Japanese Language and Literature at Ningbo University. She has presided over and completed many projects such as the Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education and the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Fund of the Foreign Studies Association of China. She has published more than 20 papers in professional journals such as "Foreign Literature Review", "Foreign Literature", "Humanities Magazine", "University Education Science", etc. Many of them have been reprinted in academic journals such as "Xinhua Digest", "NPC Newspaper Reprint" and "Social Science Digest". She has published one academic monograph and edited one professional textbook. Her research interests include Japanese literature, Sino-Japanese comparative literature and culture.

Zhang Yun studied at the Department of Western Languages and Literatures at Peking University from 1982 to 1989, where he received his BA and MA degrees, and received his PhD from the University of Eichstätt in 1999. He is currently Professor of German and Head of the German Department at the School of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University.
